Jeff Kunitz is an Associate Director of the Tax Credit Group (TCG) of Marcus & Millichap. Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Brokerage Company is the largest investment real estate brokerage firm in the country, with over $20 Billion in sales in 2006. Since beginning his investment brokerage career with Marcus & Millichap in 2005, Mr. Kunitz has participated in the closing of over $600 Million of multifamily product.

Mr. Kunitz is a transaction leader with the Tax Credit Group of Marcus & Millichap, the country’s leading team of Section 42 Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) apartment brokers. Since 2001, the group has closed 26,103 units of LIHTC product worth $1.145 Billion. Current assignments include 15,267 units valued at $856.7 Million. The group has analyzed projects in 47 states.

Mr. Kunitz is a member of the firm’s National Multi Housing Group. Prior to joining the group in 2005, he was the Vice President of the Midwest Division of AIMCO Capital, where he was responsible for over 300 tax credit properties in a ten-state region. He brings extensive LIHTC industry experience including six years as a workout specialist for KeyBank’s portfolio of LIHTC properties and six years in property management. Mr. Kunitz attended the University of Wisconsin at Madison where he majored in Real Estate and minored in Business.
